Our Texas, Our Future is the official brand for H-E-B’s sustainability efforts. This program encompasses local sourcing, wildlife conservation, recycling centers, food waste diversion, customer education and everything in between.
As lead designer for Our Texas, Our Future, I have shaped the brand by maintaining evolving guidelines with brand awareness and communication at the forefront. Working with a team of digital designers, production artists and copywriters, I have created touch points from in-store signage to out of home boards, e-bus wraps to exclusive reusable bags.
Earth Day Reusable Bags
In 2024, H-E-B released this limited edition bag celebrating Big Bend Ranch State Park, the first in a 3 year series showcasing our Texas State Parks. H-E-B gave away 265,000 free reusable bags for Earth Day in stores or at Curbside. This design was inspired by postcards, encouraging Texans to visit our beautiful parks.
In 2025, the limited edition reusable H-E-B bag featured scenery from Galveston Island State Park. This marked the second installment in a three-year series. On April 22, 274,000 reusable bags were given to customers across Texas to celebrate Earth Day.
In 2026, the bag features Garner State Park, which is situated along the Frio River. This design is the third and final installment in a three-year series that featured state parks in Texas. On April 22, 276,000 free reusable bags were given away to H-E-B customers across the state.
